ORDINANCE NO. 368 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE <br /> TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> AMENDING A SECTION OF THE <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING TRUCK TRAFFIC ROUTES <br /> WHEREAS, on June 2 , 1993 , the City Council of the Town of <br /> Los Altos Hills adopted an ordinance regarding one-way traffic <br /> for certain trucks on Stonebrook Road; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the regulation , <br /> of the speed of heavy trucks on Stonebrook Road is a more <br /> important factor in protecting the public health, safety and <br /> welfare than prohibiting two-way traffic; and <br /> WHEREAS, the company currently operating vehicles exceeding <br /> ten (10) tons on Stonebrook Road has agreed to operate these <br /> trucks at a speed of no more that ten (10) miles per hour • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos <br /> Hills does ORDAIN as follows: <br /> • <br /> Section 1. Amendment of Code. Section 4-3 . 1201 (h) of <br /> Article 12 [Truck Traffic Routes] of Title 4 [Public Safety] of <br /> the Los Altos Municipal Code is hereby amended to read: <br /> (h) Stonebrook Road from El Monte Road to Prospect Road. <br /> Section 2 . Effective Date; Posting. <br /> This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days from <br /> the date of its passage, and shall be posted within the Town of <br /> Los Altos Hills in three (3) public -places. <br /> INTRODUCED: February 2, 1994 <br /> PASSED: February :16, 1994 <br /> • <br />
