s - ORDINANCE NO. 371 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OY LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE . RELATING TO A TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM WHEREAS, Section 65089 .3 of the California Government Code requires each congestion management agency. ("CMA") to determine annually if the county and cities are conforming to the congestion management program including, . but .not limited to, the adoption and implementation of a trip reduction and travel demand ordinance; and . WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County CMA has adopted a policy that implementation of trip reduction- and travel demand requirements in-the County shall be through the administration, implementation, and enforcement by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District of Regulation 13 , Rule 1 ("Trip Reduction Requirements for Large Employers") ; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. Amendment of Code. Article 14 (Transportation Demand Management Programs.) of Chapter 3 (Traffic) of Article 4 (Public Safety) of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 4-3 . 1401. Trip Reduction. Within the Town, the implementation of trip reduction and travel demand requirements pursuant to Government Code Section 65089.3 shall be satisfied through the administration, implementation, and enforcement by the Bay Area Air _Quality Management District of District Regulation 13 , Rule 1 ("Trip Reduction Requirements for Large Employers") . Section 4-3 . 1402 . Certification. The Town's Director of Public .Works shall certify annually to the -Congestion Management Agency that this ordinance remains in effect. •
