ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Commissioner Brawn, Acting Chairwoman Schick <br />Absent: Commissioner Phillips <br />Staff: City Engineer Alex Russell, Building Inspector/Planner <br />Ken Pastrof, Deputy Clerk Norma Hislop, Planning Secretary <br />Kate Tenney <br />B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: 'larch 26, 1975 <br />There being no corrections, .Acting Chairwoman Schick declared the <br />minutes of March 26, 1975 approved as submitted. <br />C. REQUEST FOR CONTINUANCE: <br />1. LANDS OF CESANO, APN #182-29-047, on Central fIrive, Paul Nowack, <br />Engineer, BSA-6032-75 <br />City Engineer Alex Russell explained to the Commission that Lands <br />of Cesano would not be ready for consideration for several weeks. <br />The Commission voted unanimously to continue the Building Site <br />Approval request for Lands of Cesano to the Meeting of May 14, <br />1975. <br />D. BUILDING SITE APPROVAL: <br />1. LANDS OF CHU, Lot 8, Tract 2842, Jay Hammond, Engineer, BSA- <br />6033-75 <br />Building Inspector/Planner Ken Pastrof presented the Staff report. <br />Discussion ensued on the possible presence of a fault trace on <br />Mr. Chu's property, as referred to in Staff report. 11r. Pastrof <br />explained that there was no surface evidence on the Chu property <br />indicating an active fault. <br />11r. Chu requested an exemption from a Geological survey because of <br />` the history of the general location (i.e. Saladino report), the <br />age of the fault (3 million years since any last known activity), <br />and his willingness to take a calculated risk on any future activity <br />of such a fault. <br />
