VARIANCE AND VERMIT COMMISSION <br />Town of Los Altos Hills <br />26379 Fremont Road <br />Los Altos Hills, California <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETIHG <br />Wednesday, June 23, 1976 <br />Reel 52, Side II, Track 1, 153 to 441 <br />Chairman William Hahn called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. in the Council <br />Chambers, Town hall, Los Altos Hills, California. <br />ROLL CALL: Chairman Hahn, Vice -Chairman Stewart, Commissioner Rydell. <br />Also present: Kenneth R. Pastrof, Town Planner, Ethel Hopkins, Secretary. <br />City Engineer Alexander Russell arrived at 6:40 p.m.. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 12, 1976 and June 9, 1976 <br />Chairman Hahn noted that since the membership of the Variance and Permit <br />Commission had changed, he had contacted former members by letter seekinq their <br />approval of the Minutes of the meetings of April 28, Flay 12 and May 26. He had <br />tl received no response. He noted that he would approve or change minutes by con- <br />sidering them separately. He had been present at the May 12 meeting. <br />MOTION: Chairman Hahn moved, seconded by Vice -Chairman Stewart, for adoption <br />of the May 12, 1976 Minutes. <br />Motion passed with aye votes from all present. <br />Commissioner Rydell requested that on the Minutes of June 9, 1976 he be noted <br />as an excused absence since he had been out of toi.m when the packets were dis- <br />tributed and was unaware that he had automatically replaced Commissioner Schick. <br />MOTION: Vice -Chairman Stewart moved, seconded by Chairman Hahn,to correct <br />the Minutes of June 9 to reflect Commissioner Rydell's absence was <br />an excused absence. <br />Motion passed with aye votes from all Commissioners. <br />KOTION: Chairman Hahn moved, seconded by Vice -Chairman Stewart, to approve <br />the Minutes of June 9, 1976 as amended. <br />Motion passed with aye votes from all Commissioners. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />1. LANDS OF TIEFERT, 10490 Albertsworth Lane, Request for recommendation <br />of approval of Variance to Setback Limitations for Swimming Pool Site <br />Town Planner Ken Pastrof noted that at the meeting of May 26, Staff was <br />4 instructed by the Commission to look again at the applicant's property <br />to see if Mr. Tiefert's pool could be accommodated with no variance or <br />with a lesser degree of variance than was first requested.
