Ommissioner Perkins <br />arrived at 7:12 P.M.. <br />Absent: Commissioner Carico <br />Also Present: Town Engineer Alexander Russell, 'Town Planner/F!ngineer John Markl, <br />Secretary Ethel Hopkins <br />If 1 1WIkNm".COA <br />1. Zoning for Town Hall - water Office Site. <br />Chairman halm began the discussion by enumerating the following pieces of informa- <br />Ction that the Planning Camnissioners should halm had at their disposal: <br />1. Council Subcrnmitee Report dated January 26, 1977 prepared by Council- <br />men McReynolds and Brown; <br />2. City Clerk's letter dated February 17, 1977 on the Actions of the City <br />Council which requested that the Planning Commission initiate hearings <br />on the subject of Zoning for Town Hall - Water Office Site; <br />3. letter to the Planning Commission from the City Engineer dated March 18, 1977, <br />subject, "Zoning for Town Hall - Water Office Site"; and <br />4. Letter dated May 2, 1977 to the Staff and Planning Camdssion from <br />Camissioner Pedcins. <br />He noted that Councilmen McReynolds and Brown's report had stated that the Town <br />was in violation of its own ordinances by the use of Town -awned property for <br />administrative and equipment storage purposes and ernmerated the possible solutions <br />be the problem. They were: 1) to expand the two zone areas in the Town to include <br />the items mentioned above; 2) establish a new, zone; and 3) addina a new section to <br />Section 9-5.703 of the.I,os Altos Hills Y"daipal Code. <br />Camissioner Perkins noted that the Purissima Hills County Water District is an <br />autcaWous group within the Town, and stated that the Town Attorney's opinion <br />should be sought if there were am question on hog this use should be dealt with. <br />Various alternatives such as amending the tyro zone, residential- agricultural <br />ening, in the Tuan; spelling out exactly by map the facilities on Town Hall <br />property, excluding the storage of equipnent; or a ending Section 9-5.703 <br />
