4110 <br /> _ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 27-94 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> ORDERING AND CALLING A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br /> TO BE HELD IN THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ON NOVEMBER 8, 1994; <br /> REQUESTING THE SERVICES OF THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS; <br /> REQUESTING CONSOLIDATION OF ELECTIONS AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR GIVING NOTICE OF THE ELECTION <br /> The City Council of The Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> Section 1. A General Municipal Election is hereby called to be held in and <br /> for the Town of Los Altos Hills on Tuesday, November 8, 1994, for the purpose of <br /> electing two (2) councilmembers, each for a full. term of four (4) years. <br /> Section 2. Pursuant to Section 22003 of the Election Code, the City Council <br /> hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara ("Board of <br /> Supervisors") to make available the services of the Registrar of Voters for the purpose <br /> of providing the usual services necessary in the conduct of a consolidated Municipal <br /> Election, including the provision of election supplies and voters' pamphlets., <br /> Section 3. Pursuant to Section 23300 of the Elections Code, the City Council <br /> hereby requests the Board of Supervisors to order the consolidation of the General <br /> Municipal Election hereby called with the General Election to be conducted within <br /> the boundaries of the Town of Los Altos Hills on November 8, 1994, with respect to <br /> which the Board of Supervisors has the power to order a consolidation. The City <br /> Council further consents to and orders the consolidation of the General Municipal <br /> Election hereby called with the.General Election. <br /> Upon consolidation, the consolidated election shall be held, elected officers <br /> appointed, voting precincts designated, ballots printed, polls opened and closed, ballots <br /> counted and returned, returns canvassed, and all other proceedings conducted in <br /> connection with the election under the regulations of the Registrar of Voters of the <br /> County of Santa Clara, in accordance with the provisions of the law regulating <br /> elections so consolidated. <br /> Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to. publish a <br /> Notice of General Municipal Election within the time and manner specified in <br /> California Elections Code Section 22830. <br /> Section 5. Pursuant to Section 10012 of the Elections Code, the City Council <br /> approves and adopts the following uniform policies and procedures concerning the <br /> Municipal Election to be held on November 8, 1994: <br />
