PLANNING COMMISSION Town of Los Altos Hills 26379 Fremont Road Los Altos Hills, California MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING Wednesday, March 14, 1979 Reel 77, Side 1, Tr. 1, 644 to End; Side 2, Tr. 1, 001 to 278 The meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at 7:50 p.m. by Chairman Stewart in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall. ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners Lachenbruch, Rydell, vanTamelen, Dochnahl, Chairman Stewart Absent: Commissioners Carico and Kuranoff. (Both absences were excused absences.) Also Present: City Manager Robert Crowe, City Engineer/Planner John Carlson, Secretary Ethel Hopkins CONSENT CALENDAR: The Minutes of February 28 were corrected as follows: Page four, add to the end of the motion to continue Lands of Hom,"because of insufficient information for the staff reQort." Also on Page four, Item 4 under "New 8 sines;" remove the comma after ..the Also reports from Mr. Cotton..." an � add and from any consultants that might be on the subdivision.' MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: It was moved by Chairman Stewart and seconded by Commissioner Rydell to approve the Minutes of February 28 as amended. All Commissioners voted for the motion except Commissioner Dochnahl who abstained because of his absence from the February 28th meeting. OLD BUSINESS: 1, LANDS OF PARNAS CORPORATION (formerly Lands of Arastra Ltd. Partnership) File #FM 3068-78, Page Mill Road, Louis & Di ederich, Emmneer, Request for Planning Commission Approval of Improvement Plans Joe Louis, Louis & Diederich, 480 North First Street, San Jose, discussed his reasons for incomplete plans and asked that Commissioners give partial consent to the proposed improvement plans. More information would be supplied at a later date as the work progressed. MOTION SECONDED AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY: It was moved by Chairman Stewart and seconded by Commissioner Lachenbruch to continue the Lands of Parnas Corporation, File NFM 3068-78,until the engineer conforms to all the requirements of the con- ditions of the tentative map approval, including complete mitigating drawings for the swale. Chairman Stewart asked that the Town Geologist, the Soils Engineer, and also the Town Engineer provide a written response to the mitigating drawings for the swale area, and that this reponse be submitted to the Planning Commission for their approval and recommendation. Technical arguments were to be dealt with by staff.
