PLANNING COMMISSION Town of Los Altos Hills 26379 Fremont Road Los Altos Hills, California MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING Wednesday, May 23, 1979 Reel 78, Side II,Tr. 2, 900 to End; Side I, Tr.l. 001 to 321 Chairwoman vanTamelen called the meeting of the Planning Commission to order at 7:50 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners Stewart, Carico, Lachenbruch, Rydell, Dochnahl, Kuranoff, Chairman vanTamelen Absent: None Also Present: City Manager Robert Crowe, City Engineer/Planner John Carlson, Secretary Ethel Hopkins Press: Judy J. Miller, Peninsula Times -Tribune ADDRESS BY MAYOR McREYNOLDS: Mayor McReynolds addressed the Planning Commission and commended the Commission on its vital efforts and work on behalf of the Town. He noted that the Town, as a result of the passage of Proposition 13 and the fact that the Town and surrounding valley area were almost full, was in a period of transition. He stated that he would o welcome ideas from the Planning Commission and City Council on constructive ways of dealing with these challenges. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The Minutes of May 9 were corrected as follows: 1) On page 3, last sentence before the Lands of Chu public hearing, change the time of the meeting resumption to 9:53 p.m.; 2) On page 5, second paragraph under New Business, Item #2, change the first sentence of the paragraph to read: Commissioner Lachenbruch suggested that Commissioners, at the time of site development, require for the Lands of Love that the combined structural coverage not exceed 15%, and the combined impermeable surface not exceed 40% of the net acreage in the two adjacent substandard parcels owned by Love; and 3) Under the "Election of Officers", page 5, third line, first paragraph, change "...seconded by Commissioner vanTamelen..." to 'seconded by Commissioner Stewart...'. Chairman vanTamelen declared the Minutes of May 23 approved as amended. PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1.
