VARIANCE AND PERMIT COMMISSION <br />�. Town of Los Altos Hills <br />26379 Fremont Road <br />Los Altos Hills, California <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />Wednesday, June 25, 1980 <br />Reel 87, Side 2, Tr. 1.549 to 617 <br />Chairman Kuranoff called the meeting of the Variance and Permit Commission to <br />order at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Commissioners Kuranoff, vanTamelen, and Dochnahl <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: City Planner/Engineer John Carlson, Assistant Planner Pat Webb, <br />Secretary Ethel Hopkins <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />The Minutes of April 9th were corrected that Commissioners Lachenbruch, Kuranoff and <br />Stewart were present for the meeting at the "Roll Call". (Commissioner Rydell's <br />name was stricken.) Thereafter, Chairman Kuranoff declared the Minutes of April 9 <br />E. approved as amended. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />1. LANDS OF VON HUENE File #VAR. 4-80, 13500 South Fork Lane, Request for <br />Recommendation of pproval for Variance from Setback to Construct Storage Shed: <br />Mr. Carlson discussed the above request as detailed in his June 20th staff report, <br />recommending that the variance request be granted. He noted that the applicant was <br />in the process of completing agreements for an access easement across adjoining <br />property, but that it was the applicant's wish that he obtain the variance before <br />completing these agreements. <br />Commission discussion concerned an error on the map concerning the location of the <br />top of the creek bank, whether trees would be cut down when the shed was constructed, <br />and whether the shed construction would be reviewed by the Site Development Committee. <br />The following action was taken by the Variance and Permit Commission: <br />MOTION SECONDED AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY: It was moved by Commissioner Dochnahl and <br />seconded by Commissioner vanTamelen to recommend approval of the variance request <br />for the Lands of vonHuene, File #VAR.4-80, with the reasons cited in the June 20, 1980 <br />staff report, with the conditions listed therein, and with the following additional <br />condition: No trees over four inches in diameter or greater shall be removed from <br />the property during construction of the shed. <br />L ADJOURNMENT: <br />w There being no new or old business to be discussed, it was moved by Commissioner Doch- <br />nahl and approved unanimously by all present to adjourn.
