O <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 18-90 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF <br /> LOS ALTOS HILLS ESTABLISHING POLICIES FOR TOWN <br /> OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GOVERNING OFFICIAL TRAVEL, <br /> MEALS, AND THE REIMBURSEMENT OF INCURRED EXPENSES <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of <br /> Santa Clara, State of California, that <br /> (a) The purpose of this Resolution is to establish a policy governing <br /> the official travel. meals, and the reimbursement of incurred <br /> expenses of Town officers and employees; and <br /> (b) The following be and is hereby adopted as the policy. <br /> SECTION 1:- GENERAL <br /> Attendance of officers and employees at selected conferences, <br /> conventions, and professional meetings is beneficial to the Town. Expenses <br /> incurred at such meetings will be paid by the Town if adequate funds have <br /> been budgeted for that purpose, attendance was authorized, the expenses <br /> were incurred for the benefit of the Town, and the procedures specified in <br /> this policy are followed. <br /> The Town's intent is to ensure that officers and employees do not <br /> incur personal expenses to conduct Town business. It is also the Town's <br /> intent that the Town not incur expenses unrelated to Town business. <br /> Expenses for family members and personal guests are not <br /> reimbursable by the Town. Expenses for Town-related business guests may <br /> occasionally be reimbursed. <br /> 1 • <br />
