`r <br />Minutes of a Special Meeting <br />August 4, 1998 <br />Town of Los Altos Hills <br />City Council Meeting <br />Tuesday, August 4, 1998, 4:00 P.M. <br />Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road <br />CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br />Mayor Johnson called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 4:00 p.m. in the <br />Council Chambers. <br />0 <br />Present: Mayor Johnson and Councilmembers Dauber, Johnson and Siegel <br />Absent: Councilmember Casey <br />Staff: Acting City Manager/Planning Director Curtis Williams, Acting <br />City Engineer Sheryl Profit and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br />Press: None <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Siegel, seconded by Dauber and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to adopt Resolution #52-98 accepting grant of storm drain <br />easement on Lands of Wadhwani, Resolution #53-98 approving and authorizing execution of an <br />agreement for conservation easement between the Town of Los Altos Hills and Luis M. Yanez <br />and Georgina C. Yanez, trustees, Resolution #54-98 accepting grant of storm drain easement on <br />Lands of Osterlund/Humphries, Resolution #55-98 accepting grant of storm drain easement on <br />Lands of Pefley and Resolution #56-98 accepting grant of storm drain easement on Lands of <br />Klock. <br />3. <br />During a discussion of the LaPaloma Drainage Basin Storm Drain Improvement Project, Dauber <br />expressed her concerns about the plans to pipe the creek across the Silvestri's property. This was <br />not what she had approved and she questioned when it had been changed. She did not support <br />piping the Town's creeks. The Assistant City Engineer reported that this change was not a new <br />one and had been in place for some time with all parties in agreement. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hubbard, seconded by Siegel and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to adopt Resolution #57-98 approving the additional budget <br />August 4, 1998 <br />Special City Council Meeting <br />
