Board. In the meantime it was suggested that the City Attorney prepare a set of <br />procedures to be followed by the League of Women Voters. These procedures should <br />60 include, in part, the following: the complaint should be filed in writing with the League of <br />Women Voters; the committee would review the complaint and then file a report which <br />would be printed in the Town Crier; included in this report would be the name/names of <br />those filing the complaint; the cost would be paid by the Town but the Editor of the Town <br />Crier would be approached to see if the Town Crier would pick up the cost of printing <br />such reports. These procedures would be brought back to Council for final approval. <br />7.2 Joint Volunteer Awards Committee (Mayor Pro Tem Dauber) <br />Dauber reported that she had asked Liz and Ed Dana if one of them would be interested in <br />participating on the Joint Volunteer Awards Committee. They responded positively but <br />at this time Dauber was not sure which one would be serving on the committee. <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To appoint either Liz or Dan Dana to the Joint Volunteer <br />Awards Committee. <br />7.3 Letter from Santa Clara Valley Water District concerning Methyl <br />Tertiary Butyl Ether (Mayor Johnson) <br />Johnson commented that the request from the Santa Clara Valley Water District to put a <br />resolution on the agenda banning MTBE had been received too late to get on the agenda. <br />He planned to send a letter to the Chairman of the SCV WD Board of Directors, Dr. <br />Gross, to advise him that it would be on the August 19" City Council agenda. <br />8.
