kir <br />4.4 Awarded Certificates of Appreciation: <br />Katherine Stella, Pathways Recreation and <br />Parks Committee <br />Carol Johnson, Technology Improvement <br />Committee <br />Scott Overstreet and Charles Amey for their <br />work on the Emergency Radio <br />System in the Heritage House <br />4.5 Awarded contract for pavement marking and traffic striping — Reso #101-98 <br />4.7 Approved grant of sanitary sewer easement, Lands of Thomas — Reso #103-98 <br />Items Removed: <br />4.1 Approval of Minutes: October 21, 1998 (Regular Meeting) <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hubbard, seconded by Dauber and passed <br />unanimously to approve the minutes of the October 21, 1998 City Council Meeting with the <br />following corrections: page 4, Item 5. 1, change `Mrs. Melnikov' to `Charlene Archebeque'; page <br />5, Item 6.4, change `$12,000' to `$52,000'; and page 6, item 8.3.1 change the second sentence to <br />read: `The City Manager further reported that a no u -tum sign was going to be installed at Berry <br />Hill Court'. <br />4.6 Acceptance of Summit Wood Road and Tepa Way as Public Streets and <br />amendment of Ordinance #4-3.1101 <br />Siegel referred to the staff recommendations to adopt a resolution accepting Summit Wood Road <br />and Tepa Way as public streets and to amend the ordinance listing privately owned and <br />maintained streets by removing Summit Wood Road from the list. Siegel questioned whether the <br />current list of private streets as shown in the ordinance was correct and current. He <br />recommended that staff review this list before Council amended the ordinance to avoid any <br />confusion. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Siegel, seconded by Hubbard and passed <br />unanimously to adopt Resolution #102-98 accepting certain dedicated sections of Tepa Way and <br />Summit Wood Road as public streets. Council further agreed to continue the discussion on <br />amending Ordinance Section 4.3-1101 to allow time for staff to review the private road list. <br />S. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />6.1 Recommendation for agreement with Los Altos Hills County Fire District regarding <br />services provided by Jeanne Evilsizer —Reso #_ <br />The City Manager referred to his staff report which explained this proposed agreement <br />between the Town and the Los Altos Hills County Fire District for services provided by <br />Jeanne Evilsizer. Presently Jeanne worked part time for the Town and part time for the Fire <br />District. Recently the Fire District had approached the Town for advice on how to best <br />provide a salary and benefit package to Jeanne similar to packages offered to full time <br />Town Hall staff.
