Minutes of an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />March 5,1997 <br />Town of Los Altos Hills <br />City Council Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />Wednesday, March 5,1997,5:00 P.M. <br />Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road <br />CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br />Mayor Hubbard called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City to order at <br />5:05 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Hubbard and Councilmembers Casey, Dauber, <br />Johnson and Siegel <br />Staff: <br />City Manager/City Engineer Jeff Peterson and City Clerk <br />Pat Dowd <br />Press: <br />None <br />(� Pathways <br />Les Earnest, Chairman; Diane Barrager, Sylvia Jensen, <br />Committee: <br />Katherine Stella and Bob Stutz <br />2. PATHWAYS, RECREATION AND PARKS COMMITTEE: <br />A. 1996 Accomplishments <br />Les Earnest, Chairman, reported on the following accomplishments in 1996: made <br />pathway recommendations on 55 major construction projects; updated pathway <br />element of the General Plan, created list of streets that were to have paths on both sides; <br />continued work on Master Path Plan (approximately a two year project); updated <br />pathway map; followed up with Caltrans and County road authorities to ensure that <br />planned improvements to bikeways on Page Mill Road near 1-280 are completed <br />(should be done this summer); and succeeded in obtaining easement donations for <br />paths. Concerning the Master Bicycle Plan the committee had learned that outside <br />funding was available and they planned to contact the County for additional <br />information. Council cautioned that the paperwork and staff time involved in applying <br />for some of this funding could result in the project not being cost effective. Reports had <br />been submitted by the committee on pathway standards and in lieu fees for pathways <br />but to date no action had been taken on them. Committee members were presently <br />L working with the Board of Hidden Villa concerning the path connection through the <br />� w Hidden Villa property. <br />Much 5, 1997 <br />Adjourned City Council Meeting <br />
