Minutes of an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />�w June 3, 1997 <br />Town of Los Altos Hills <br />City Council Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />Tuesday, June 3,1997,3:00 P.M. <br />Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road <br />CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br />Mayor Hubbard called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City to order at <br />3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />Present: Mayor Hubbard and Councilmembers Casey, Dauber, <br />Johnson and Siegel <br />Staff: City Manager/ City Engineer Jeff Peterson, Planning <br />Director Curtis Williams, Finance Director Carol Ferrell, <br />Public Works Manager Jim Rasp and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br />Press: None <br />2. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR FY 97-98 <br />The City Manager presented his report on the goals and obectives for FY 97-98. He <br />noted that his report was, he believed, a realistic approach to the goals for the coming <br />year. Council reviewed the goals and objectives. Concerning the goal of working with <br />the fire department on fire codes, Council recommended that the Town work with the <br />Fire Commission on as many of these projects as possible. Council further <br />recommended adding the following goals: update the Master Path Plan, develop <br />standards for spraying and arrive at a recycling program for construction materials. On <br />this last issue, Council suggested investigating programs that were already in place and <br />further commented Los Altos Garbage Company should look into this matter. Dauber <br />also commented that she did not think the Town was using its volunteer base to its <br />fullest extent. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Siegel, seconded by Casey and <br />passed unanimously to approve the proposed goals and objectives for FY 97-98 with the <br />following additions: update Master Path Plan, develop a strategy for weed control <br />spraying along streets and pathways and investigate a construction materials recycling <br />program. Council also directed that the goal of developing a strategy for maintenance <br />`, of the pathway system be moved from delivery of services to infrastructure. <br />June 3, 1997 <br />Adjourned City Council Meeting <br />
