• •
inhabited territory commonly known as San Antonio Hills (West) to the Town
of Los Altos Hills.
• 2. In connection with the proposed annexation application, the City
Council represents as follows:
(a) The following are all of the proposed changes of
organization resulting from this application.
The annexation of unincorporated inhabited territory within
the County of Santa Clara to the Town.
(b) A description of the boundaries of the affected territory
marked Exhibit "A" and a map showing the boundaries thereof
marked Exhibit "B", respectively, are attached hereto, incorporated
herein and made a part hereof by reference.
(c) There are no proposed terms or conditions of the
annexation applied for.
(d) The reasons for the proposed annexation are summarized
as follows:
The area proposed to be annexed presently consitutes
approximately .0:06 percent of the County population, and
presently is isolated and with little voice in local government
affairs.
If annexed this area would constitute approximately
11 percent of the Town population and would not only be
closer geographically to the seat of local government but also
would have a larger voice in local affairs.
The residents in the area proposed to be annexed
have stated their goals are more in keeping with those of the
Town than those of Santa Clara County.
(d) The petition described above is signed by registered
voters.
-2-
