S <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 34-88 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 11 <br /> The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills resolves: <br /> 1. This Town has given preliminary approval to the report <br /> of the Engineer of Work for improvements in Assessment District No. <br /> 11, Town of Los Altos Hills, Santa Clara County, California. The <br /> report includes plans and specifications for the construction of <br /> improvements described in the report. <br /> 2. The Town of Los Altos Hills will receive sealed <br /> proposals for this construction not later than 2 : 00 P.M. on May 23, <br /> 1988, in the office of the City Clerk located at 26379 Fremont Road, <br /> Los Altos Hills, California 94022. At that time and place the <br /> sealed proposals will be publicly opened, examined and declared. <br /> 3 . The City Council reserves the power in its discretion <br /> to reject all proposals. The award of construction contract, if <br /> made, shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time <br /> fixed in the specifications (or any extension of time agreed to by <br /> the Town and the lowest responsible bidder) . <br /> 4. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice inviting <br /> sealed proposals in the PENINSULA TIMES in accordance with the <br /> Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 . The Engineer of Work is <br /> authorized to give additional notice and to distribute additional <br /> information as necessary in the judgment of the Engineer of Work, to <br /> secure competitive bidding. <br /> Regularly passed and adopted this 20th day of April, 1988. <br />
