`� Country Club had increased their reservation fee and this therefore increased the <br />�kr' cost for this event. A discussion ensued on whether to have this event at the club <br />or to find another location. Dauber believed it was too expensive to hold this event <br />at the Fremont Hills Country Club; three bands were not necessary; and over $30 <br />was too high a ticket price. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Johnson, seconded by Hubbard <br />and passed by the following roll call vote to agree to hold the 1996 S'Bring In The <br />Hills Event at the Fremont Hills Country Club; to direct the committee to negotiate <br />the best contract with the club for this event; to eliminate the harpist; and to <br />establish the maximum ticket price at $35. <br />AYES: Mayor Siegel and Councilmembers Casey, Hubbard and Johnson <br />NOES: Councilmember Dauber <br />Mr. Burnell noted that the invitation for this event was going to be sent out in the <br />April Newsletter with separate invitations being mailed to the newcomers and <br />neighborhood coordinators. The City Manager noted that a sign for this event could <br />be placed on the board at Town Hall. <br />D. Discussion of specific items brought up by committee and Council <br />Members or introduced in the Goals and Objectives <br />E. Council Approval of 1996-97 Goals and Objectives <br />Mr. Burnell commented on the activities of the committee. He referred to <br />the Welcome Packets which were being handled by Patty and Roy Woolsey. II <br />was estimated that 200 of these packets went out annually. The committee <br />was currently working on the April issue of the newsletter. It was anticipated <br />that articles on the following issues/events would be included in this issue: <br />S'bring in the Hills, artists' displays at Council Chambers, volunteer dinner, <br />status reports on surveys in last newsletter (Bullis Auditorium Project and <br />Computer Survey). <br />Council thanked the Community Relations Committee for their report and <br />their achievements during the past year and continuing goals for 1996-97. <br />3.
