bv Council and Committeemernbers held a discussion on the issue of site development
meetings and the pros and cons of having the applicant go thru this process.
Councilmembers were concerned about the process and complaints that it was
lengthy and complicated. They questioned whether these applications could be
heard at the administrative level rather than by the Site Development Committee.
Mrs. Struthers spoke in favor of the Site Development Process. She felt it was very
worthwhile and more informal than a full Planning Commission Meeting. Thus
the applicants were more comfortable and the neighbors had the opportunity to give
input on the projects.
Council thanked the Environmental Design and Protection Committee for their
contributions.
3.
