NEW BUSINESS <br />6.1 Study session on proposed budget FY 95-96 <br />The following decisions were made with a consensus vote: <br />1. Town Committees: add $1,000 for the Exhibit Curator position <br />2. Planning: amend the General Plan item to include the Housing Element and <br />change the amount to $15,000 for the proposed budget. <br />3. Animal Control: It was agreed this amount would not be changed at this time <br />but the City Manager was asked to discuss the issue of animal control with <br />the City Managers group for the availability of other options. <br />` 4. Street Maintenance: To move O.C. Litter Removal ($9,000) to the Solid Waste <br />\10 Budget. <br />5. Street Maintenance: Dauber believed the financial allocation among the <br />cities for participation in the Hazardous Materials Advisory Committee was <br />unfair and Council also noted that this particularly pertained to disposal <br />of hazardous waste by businesses. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hubbard, seconded by <br />Siegel and passed by the following roll vote to not include in the budget the <br />$3,000 support for the Hazardous Materials Advisory Committee. <br />AYES: Mayor Dauber and Councilmembers Casey, Hubbard and Siegel <br />NOES: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Johnson <br />6. Town Center Operations: Change supplies to $25,275 to include $275 for glass <br />shelves in the cabinet in Chambers. <br />7. Office Equipment: Carryover the $20,700 from last year to this year for the <br />copier and change the line item for A/C & Heating Unit to reflect $6,000 for <br />EOY estimate for 94-95 and $7,000 for proposed budget. <br />June 7, 1995 <br />Regular City Council Meeting <br />
