Items Removed: <br />4.1 Approval of Minutes: February 2, 1994 (Regular Meeting) <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Dauber and <br />passed unanimously to approve the minutes of the February 2, 1994 Regular City <br />Council Meeting with the following corrections: page 3, Item 4.9, passed by <br />consensus should read: ....... pay the $30 per day to the Town and the Town would <br />add this to the budgeted amount for maintenance costs for the Little League Fields.'; <br />and page 6, third paragraph, delete the following sentence: "Tryon did not believe <br />the arena should be the basis for the extension of the lease." <br />4.6 Approval of the Final Draft of the Residential Design Guidelines and <br />determination of the quantity to be ordered <br />Council had before them the staff's recommendation that 500 copies of the Design <br />Guidelines be ordered. Dauber questioned whether this was enough and suggested <br />ordering 1,000. Or if not a complete 1,000 copies, she suggested 500 inserts and 1,000 <br />covers. Council also addressed the issue of what to charge for this document. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Johnson, seconded by Tryon and <br />passed unanimously to order 500 copies of the Design Guidelines and to direct staff <br />to bring back a recommendation on what to charge for this booklet. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Siegel, seconded by Johnson and <br />passed by the following roll call vote to approval the final draft of the Design <br />Guidelines as presented at this meeting and dated 2/16/94. <br />AYES: Mayor Johnson and Councilmembers Dauber, Hubbard and Siegel <br />NOES: Councilmember Tryon <br />Tryon stated that she believed there were too many changes which had not been <br />made to the Design Guidelines which were important. <br />5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />5.1 Approval of the Conceptual Plan for Right of Way Abandonment and <br />Sale of Land, Lands of the Town of Los Altos Hills adjacent to 24024 Oak <br />Knoll Circle <br />Dauber stated that she was against selling this piece of land and urged the Council <br />not to agree to the sale. In her opinion it was valuable open space that provided a <br />gorgeous vista area and there was no advantage to the Town to sell the land. <br />Hubbard did not think that the Town should be imposing their preference on a <br />February 16, 1994 <br />Regular City Council Meeting <br />
