`r Minutes of an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />June 14, 1994 <br />Town of Los Altos Hills <br />City Council Meeting <br />Tuesday, June 14,1993,3:00 P.M. <br />Council Chambers 26379 Fremont Road <br />CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL., AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mayor Johnson called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 3:05 p.m, in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />Present: Mayor Johnson and Councilmembers Dauber, Hubbard, <br />Siegel and Tryon <br />Absent: None <br />Staff: City Manager Les M. Jones, II, Planning Director Linda <br />Niles, Director of Public Works Jeff Peterson, City <br />Treasurer Louise Parmett, Financial Consultant Janice <br />Bohman and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br />REVIEW OF PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />1994-95 <br />James Steiner, Chairman - Finance Committee, referred to the minutes of <br />their June 13 meeting. The committee had reviewed the proposed budget and <br />recommended acceptance of said budget. One issue which the committee did <br />feel needed further review was that of staffing and/or consulting. They noted <br />the trend toward increasing staff rather than contracting out for services. <br />Presently there was an increase in the workload but this may change and they <br />recommended this issue be reviewed. <br />Council reviewed the proposed budget. It was noted that the Solid Waste <br />budget was up 573,000 and there was a slight increase in business licenses and <br />weed abatement. On the subject of cost of living increase it was agreed the <br />City Manager would provide the Council with additional consumer price <br />index information at the next budget meeting. <br />June 14, 1994 <br />Adjourned Regular :Meeting <br />
