The City Attorney reported on new regulations for pool fencing which <br />INW now included pool covers. These regulations were presently in <br />draft form but would be finalized in 90 days. <br />8.3 City Clerk <br />8.3.1 Report on Council Correspondence dated 9/1/94 <br />9. COUNCIL -INITIATED ITEMS <br />9.1 Authorization to attend the League of California Cities Conference - <br />Long Beach -- October 23-25,1994 <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Johnson and <br />passed unanimously to authorize any Councilmember to. attend the League <br />Conference if they wish. <br />9.2 Designation of Voting Delegate for League of California Cities <br />Conference <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Hubbard and <br />passed unanimously to designate the Mayor the voting delegate to the League <br />Conference. <br />9.3 Appointment to the Los Altos Senior Coordinating Council <br />(Mayor Dauber) <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Johnson and <br />passed unanimously to appoint Ramona Chown to the Los Altos Senior <br />Coordinating Council for a term of one year. <br />9.4 Appointment of representative to the Palo Alto Unified School <br />District Community Advisory Committee (Mayor Dauber) <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Johnson and <br />passed unanimously to appoint Peggy Esher to the Palo Alto Unified School <br />District Community Advisory Committee for a term of one year. <br />9.5 ABAG Constitutional Amendments <br />Tryon asked that the proposed constitutional amendments received from ABAG be <br />agendized for the next meeting. <br />September 7. 1994 <br />
