Minutes of an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />%W February 17, 1993 <br />Town of Los Altos Hills <br />City Council Meeting <br />Wednesday, February 17, 1993, 4:30 P.M. <br />Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Tryon called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 4:30 p.m. <br />in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Tryon and Councilmembers Dauber, Hubbard, <br />Johnson and Siegel <br />Absent: <br />None <br />Staff: <br />City Manager Les Jones Il, Director of Public Works/City <br />Engineer Jeff Peterson; Town Planner Linda Niles; Town <br />Treasurer Louise Parmett, Financial Consultant Janice <br />Bohman and Acting City Clerk Karen Jost <br />Press: <br />None <br />2. MID YEAR BUDGET STUDY SESSION <br />Council had before them minutes from the Finance Committee meeting of <br />February 8, 1993. Jim Steiner, Finance Chair, reviewed the minutes with the <br />Council noting several items of interest including: the Committee's intention <br />to review the solid waste rate and its impact on the budget at their next <br />meeting; a recommendation to the Council that franchise fees be maintained <br />at their current levels; a request that the City Manager provide the committee <br />with a schedule of franchise fees; a request to the Finance Personnel to <br />develop a projects reporting method that reflects funding commitments and <br />multi-year projects; and a recommendation that the Town adopt separate <br />budgets for Projects and Operating Expenses. <br />The Finance Committee also unanimously recommended to the Council and <br />City Manager that town -owned fixed assets should be transferred to the <br />Proprietary Account and that no money be expended to appraise these assets. <br />`' February 17, 1993 <br />Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />
