LW Council discussed several budget issues including the following: in lieu fees, <br />sales tax, quarry costs, fines and forfeitures. Tryon asked for trends, charts to <br />get a clear picture of expenses, etc. and she also asked for a report on fines and <br />forfeitures. <br />Council then developed a list of items they wanted to add to the budget. <br />These would be discussed during later budget meetings but would be brought <br />to everyone's attention at this time. These items included: the database <br />program (Hubbard), move all one time projects into a separate section <br />(Dauber), consolidate related budgets such as pathways, open space, weed <br />abatement, etc. into one (Dauber), allocate $5,000 for community projects <br />(Dauber), increase budget for hourly part-time help (Dauber), recap of all <br />ongoing and new capital improvement projects - total dollars being spent on <br />each project (Dauber), trend lines (Tryon), tree planting (Siegel), additional <br />computers for new staff (Johnson), sound system (Johnson), Children's <br />Shelter and Joint Venture (Tryon) and establishment of a non-profit <br />foundation for community facilities (Tryon). <br />3.
