CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Hubbard called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 6:05 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Hubbard and Councilmembers Casey, Hubbard, Johnson <br /> and Tryon (arrived at 6:20 p.m.). <br /> Absent: None <br /> Staff: City Manager Les Jones, II; Director of Public Works Jeff <br /> Peterson; Town Planner Linda Niles; Town Treasurer Louise <br /> Parmett; Financial Consultant Janice Bowman; Office Manager <br /> Karen Jost and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: None <br /> 2. REVIEW OF MID-YEAR BUDGET <br /> Casey raised the issue of the amount of money the Town had in reserves <br /> (approximately $6 million) and the substantial increase in the fee schedule. <br /> She believed there was no justification for this and suggested a comparison of <br /> fees be made between the Town and communities such as Los Altos, Portola <br /> Valley and Woodside. Siegel inquired whether this should be a high priority <br /> for the City Manager and it was suggested that this might be a good project for <br /> an intern. <br /> Council also discussed the following areas of the budget: interest income <br /> assumption, pathway grant (According to the Director of Public Works there <br /> was approximately $25, 000 left in this program.) and real property transfer <br /> fir <br /> March 18, 1992 <br /> fir' Adjourned Regular Meeting <br /> I <br />
