City Manager discussed the Stonebrook Pathway Extension,costing$50,000. <br /> He said that when trucks are going by it is very dangerous and he <br /> suggested initiating a truck fee system,whereby there would be a <br /> minimum number of trucks allowed for a project and then a fee would <br /> apply for trucks over the minimum. Fees collected would go toward <br /> repairing streets. <br /> Director of Public Works told Council that because of the drought many <br /> roads in the Town had very deep cracks, and that when the rains finally <br /> come, these cracks will cause large and expensive repair problems. He <br /> explained staff was analyzing the situation within the fee structuring <br /> analysis,but informed Council that more money would be required for <br /> next year. <br /> Finance Consultant said the 1st Quarter Report as of September 30, 1992 was <br /> in the final draft stages and would be ready for review during the first <br /> meeting in November. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED—Moved by Hubbard, seconded by Johnson, <br /> and passed unanimously by all members present to approve the budget update as <br /> presented. <br /> 3.
