Minutes of an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br /> December 2, 1992 <br /> Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> City Council Meeting <br /> Wednesday, December 2, 1992, 5:00 P.M. <br /> Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br /> Mayor Tryon called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 5:10 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Tryon and Councilmembers Hubbard, Johnson <br /> and Siegel <br /> Absent: Councilmember Dauber <br /> Staff: City Manager Les M. Jones, II, City Attorney Sandy Sloan, <br /> Town Planner Linda Niles and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: Marcia Lepler and David Wallace, Los Altos Town Crier <br /> 2. HOUSING ELEMENT DISCUSSION <br /> Tryon asked what the Town could do to address the housing issue and also <br /> what the Town could do on a regional basis on this subject. She commented <br /> that Los Altos Hills had special circumstances and should work with other <br /> cities toward a solution. As a step toward this Council had before them a <br /> resolution addressing a regional approach toward the solution of the State's <br /> housing needs. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Johnson, seconded by <br /> Hubbard and passed unanimously by all members present to adopt <br /> Resolution #50-92 stating in part "Cooperative agreements between <br /> jurisdictions that best accomplish regional mandates for the provision of <br /> affordable housing shall be considered by the Department of Housing and <br /> Community Development in assessing cities' compliance with affordable <br /> housing requirements." <br /> The Town Planner addressed the schedule for review of the General Plan and <br /> in particular the housing element. The Planning Commission was <br /> December 2, 1992 <br /> Adjourned Regular Meeting <br /> 1 <br />
