CALL TO ORDER,ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Mayor Tryon called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:10 <br /> p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Tryon and Councilmembers Dauber, Hubbard and <br /> Johnson <br /> Absent: Councilmember Siegel <br /> Staff: City Manager Les M. Jones, H, City Attorney Sandy Sloan, <br /> Director of Public Works Jeff Peterson, Town Planner <br /> kirLinda Niles and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: Debbie Schmidt, Los Altos Town Crier <br /> Council thanked the Boy Scouts from Den 4, Pack 76 (Bullis and Pinewood <br /> Schools) who led the color guard and pledge of allegiance. <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> 3. PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT <br /> Planning Commissioner Cheng reported that in addition to the planning items on <br /> the Council's consent calendar (Lands of Viso and Lands of Medina), the <br /> Commission was on schedule in their review of the housing element and had met <br /> on this issue on December 15th. <br /> Dauber referred to the Lands of Medina and questioned the non-conforming <br /> structures in the setback. The Town Planner noted that any structure approved in a <br /> setback can remain there forever but cannot be changed. Dauber suggested that the <br /> December 16, 1992 <br /> 1 <br />
