CALL TO ORDER,ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Mayor Siegel called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:15 <br /> p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Siegel and Councilmembers Casey, Hubbard and Tryon <br /> Absent: Councilmember Johnson <br /> Staff: Acting City Manager Richard DeLong; City Attorney Sandy Sloan; <br /> Director of Public Works Bill Ekern and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: Cristal Borlik, Los Altos Town Crier <br /> Mayor Siegel noted that the undergrounding of utility lines on El Monte had been <br /> completed. He also commented on a large wall on O"Keefe which was right on the <br /> property line and he asked staff to look into whether this wall was in conformance <br /> with the Town's Codes. <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> 2.1 Presentation by Santa Clara County Health Bureau <br /> Michael Driscoll, Mildred King and John Collins each addressed the Council <br /> concerning the services of the four divisions of the Public Health Bureau: <br /> Environmental Health Services, Emergency Medical Services, Public Health Medical <br /> Services and Public Health Nursing. Issues they address indude in part: vector <br /> control, inspections of wells and septic tanks, control of hazardous materials, <br /> enforcement of State, County and City regulations, family planning, child health, TB <br /> and blood pressure testing, senior health, AIDS, communicable diseases and <br /> immunization. <br /> Council thanked the representatives of the Public Health Department for their <br /> informative presentation and Tryon suggested that the suicide prevention number <br /> be included in their brochure. <br /> April 17, 1991 <br /> 1 <br />
