t • • RESOLUTION NO_ 45-87 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THIRD ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AND LOS ALTOS GARBAGE COMPANY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that WHEREAS, on or about May 3, 1977, the Town of Los Altos Hills (herein called "TOWN") and Los Altos Garbage Company, a partnership (herein called "COMPANY"), entered into an Agreement for the collection and disposal of garbage, refuse, swill and waste metter within the TOWN; and WHEREAS, on or about November 23, 1902 TOWN and COMPANY entered into an Addendum to Agreement granting COMPANY an option to the term of - the Agreement from May 1, 1987 to April 30, 1992; and WHERAS, on or about October 23, 1984 TOWN and COMPANY entered into a Second Addendum to Agreement providing for the remitting by COMPANY to TOWN of revenue generated by the increase in garbage rates effective on July 1, 1984 to pay the costs incurred by TOWN as a party to the 1984 Solid Waste Disposal Participation Agreement with the City of Mountain View; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has read and considered that certain Third Addendum to the above-described Agreement providing for amendment of the period of time for which the Agreement may be extended together with other amendments and additions hereinafter set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, iT IS FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED as follows: 1. Public interest and convenience require the entering into of a Addendum to Agreement described above, and the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby approves this Third Addendum to Agreement.
