Minutes of a Regular Meeting <br /> December 5, 1990 <br /> Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> City Council Meeting <br /> Wednesday, December 5, 1990, 7:15 P.M. <br /> Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER,ROLL CALL, AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Mayor Siegel called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:15 <br /> p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br /> Present: Mayor Siegel, and Councilmembers Casey, Hubbard, Johnson, <br /> and Tryon. <br /> Absent: None <br /> Staff: City Manager Thomas Frutchey; City Attorney Sandy Sloan; <br /> r+ Director of Public Works Bill Ekern; Planning Director Ann <br /> Jamison; and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br /> Press: Mary Fortney, Peninsula Times Tribune; Cristal Borlik, Los <br /> Altos Town Crier <br /> Casey noted that a long-time resident of the Town, Julie Eshner, had recently <br /> passed away and she asked that the meeting be adjourned in her memory. Julie <br /> Eshner and her family had settled in Los Altos Hills in the early 1950s and she had <br /> always had a great love for the Town. Although born with cerebral palsy, she had a <br /> wonderful sense of humor and a great love for children and animals. She was <br /> generous in her support of the Childrens' Hospital and contributed many hours in <br /> volunteer efforts. Julie Eshner was indeed an endless source of inspiration. <br /> 2. APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS <br /> 2.1 Appointments to the North County Library Authority <br /> It was noted that the terms of both Judy Duque and Mary van Tamelen on the <br /> North County Library Authority had expired. Both had submitted letters requesting <br /> December 5, 1990 <br /> 1 <br />
