10 . STAFF REPORTS: (continued) : <br /> Mayor Pro Tem were invited to the agenda meetings which were held the <br /> day after the regularly scheduled Council Meetings. At the agenda <br /> meetings, a draft agenda was discussed, input was received and staff <br /> reports were assigned. A copy of the tentative agenda was delivered to <br /> the Town Crier on Friday of the same week for the issue to be <br /> delivered the week before the next Council Meeting. On Tuesday of the <br /> following week drafts of staff reports were due in the City Manager 's <br /> office. *The Friday prior to the Council Meeting, the final agenda was <br /> typed, the packets prepared (all packets were to be made available by <br /> 3:00 p.m. ) , the mailing done and dial-agenda recorded. <br /> Tryon thanked the City Manager for his report and hoped that the <br /> present procedure would be followed. <br /> 10.1 .2. Westwind Barn Hoe-Down <br /> The City Manager reported that the Westwind Barn Hoe-Down had been a <br /> great success . <br /> 10.1. 3. Code Enforcement Analysis <br /> The City Manager reported that the Code Enforcement Analysis would be <br /> on the next Council Agenda. <br /> 10.2 City Attorney <br /> 10. 3 City Clerk <br /> 11.COUNCIL BUSINESS : <br /> 11.1 Solid Waste Management Plans <br /> Council had received a request from Supervisor Dianne McKenna' s office <br /> for Council support of an amendment modifying the proposed State <br /> legislation regulating solid waste management plans. Siegel commented <br /> on this request and recommended that at this time, pending receipt of <br /> additional information, Council take no action on this item. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Siegel , seconded by Johnson and <br /> passed unanimously by all members present to note, file and table the <br /> request from Supervisor Dianne McKenna for Council support of an <br /> amendment modifying the proposed State legislation regulating solid <br /> waste management plans . <br /> 11 .2 Griffin House <br /> It was noted that a committee had been formed to discuss the possible <br /> preservation of the Griffin House on the Foothill College campus . It <br /> was estimated that restoration of the house would cost $2 million and <br /> the inquiry was made whether there was any interest in the Town to <br /> preserve the house. <br /> *The Thursday prior to the Council meeting was the deadline for placarent of iters on <br /> the agenda and receipt of all materials.
