2. CLOSED SESSION: PENDING LITIGATION (PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT <br /> CODE SECTION 54956.9) AND PERSONNEL <br /> The City Council adjourned to a Closed Session for purposes of litigation and <br /> personnel at 6:05 p.m. and reconvened at 7:15 p.m. <br /> 3. WATER CONCERNS AND RELATED ISSUES <br /> Tryon noted her concerns that several issues which had been discussed at an earlier <br /> joint meeting between the City Council and the Board of Directors of the Purissima <br /> Hills Water District had not been addressed. One of the main areas of concern was the <br /> education of the Town's residents regarding water issues. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Johnson and <br /> passed unanimously by all members present to appoint Councilmembers Johnson and <br /> Siegel to a sub-committee of the Council to meet with representatives of the Purissima <br /> Hills Water District to discuss issues of concern, water supply in Town, etc. <br /> ihr 4. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> 5. CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Council noted they had received the City Attorney's letter of resignation with regret <br /> and asked the City Manager what steps were being taken toward the recruitment of a <br /> new City Attorney. The City Manager responded that letters were being sent out to <br /> attorneys in the area who might be interested. The City Manager suggested that the <br /> Council might wish to develop criteria for the recruitment of a City Attorney. Mr. <br /> Gillio stated that he would remain as City Attorney until a replacement had been <br /> chosen. <br /> 3. ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further new or old business to discuss, the City Council adjourned at <br /> 7:30 p.m. <br /> December 14, 1989 <br /> 2 <br />
