MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by van <br />Tamelen and passed unanimously to go past the hour of adjournment <br />( of 11:30 until the agenda items are completed. <br />f) Police Services <br />The City Manager referred to his 8/1/86 staff report which <br />included the following options for police services: Foothill JPA, <br />Los Altos Police Department contract, Community Service Officer, <br />modified contract with the Sheriff's Department or a supplemental <br />traffic unit. <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To request the City Manager to continue <br />looking into the available options for police services and to <br />authorize the City Manager to increase the use of the <br />supplemental traffic unit. Council further agreed to forward all <br />information on this subject to the Safety Committee when such <br />material was available. <br />g) Year-end Financial Adjustments <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by Tryon <br />and passed unanimously to adopt/fid Coli's recommendations for <br />year end adjustments by increasing total appropriations by <br />$91,546 to reflect actual expenditures and to eliminate the <br />$300,000 Dry Period Reserve. *Financial Consultant (AMENDED BY COUNCIL 8/20/86) <br />i) Painting of Town Hall <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by van <br />Tamelen and passed unanimously to authorize an expenditure of <br />$5,000 for the painting of Town Hall. <br />2. City Attorney: <br />a) Agreement with Foothill College for horse <br />riding trail <br />The City Attorney reported that Foothill College had agreed to <br />the changes made by the Council at their 7/16/86 meeting on the <br />agreement for the horse riding trail and the agreement was now <br />ready for the Mayor's signature. It was agreed the City Clerk <br />would send a transmittal letter to Mal Leal, Foothill College, <br />when the agreement was fully executed. <br />3.
