REPORT FROM 741E PLANNING COK4ISSICN: <br />Cmnissionner Struthers reported the Planning Commission recamiended denial <br />without prejudice of a Tentative Map for 9 lots on O'Keefe Lane, Lards of <br />Currie; and Denied an A�et3-Ptxntiro Appeal*for Lands of Vancheiri regarding <br />Development Area Calculations. Struthers also reported the Ca ssicn set <br />the Study Session for the Housing Element on October 16th at 4:00 p.m., which <br />will include the attendance of the City Attorney. *frau administrative decision <br />(AMENDED By COUNCIL 10/15/86) <br />CounciLrember Dronkert questioned the appeal and setting public hearing for <br />Lands of Currie. Mr. Gillio informed Council the Tentative Map for the Lands <br />of Currie automatically is forwarded to Council as an Action of the Planning <br />Commission and does not require an appeal by the applicant. <br />F. PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />1. LANDS OF AL.LBSRA, 26721 Taaffe Road, Request for a Special Land Use Permit <br />to allow for an addition subject to Ordinance #300. <br />Ms. Lytle referred to Staff Report dated September 25, 1986, informing Council <br />an application was approved for zoning on July 2, 1986 and Site DeveloFment <br />Permit on September 10, 1986 for an addition based on the project's conformance <br />with the Guidelines for Ordinance #300. Ms. Lytle described the property and <br />proposed project in terms of the subdivision and zoning ordinance criteria, <br />guidelines for Ordinance #300, and formulas most recently adopted by Council <br />in the new zoning ordinance (formula 2A). Ms. Lytle recommended approval of <br />the Special Land Use Peunit as the project conforms to Guidelines for Ordinance <br />#300 and noted Council should assess Ordinance #295, Section 5(b) i -viii and <br />(c) i -iii prior to taking action. <br />The Public Hearing was then opened. <br />Mr. Roger Kelley Kohler, Architect, informed Council he was available to answer: <br />any questions on the proposed application. <br />Council and staff discussed the portion of workshop Waich extends into the <br />setback area; staff informed Council the applicant is to return with a zoning <br />modification prior to issuance of the building permit for the addition. <br />The Public Hearing was then closed. <br />MOTION SEODDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by Tryon and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to approve the Special Land Use Permit for <br />Lands of Allegra, based on conformance with Ordinance #300 and newly adopted <br />Ordinance #305. <br />**** Item taken out of order: <br />D. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />Mrs. Carol Phy, 25616 bloody Road, with regard to the Adobe Creek walk, Mrs. Phy <br />inforned Council Adobe Creek runs through her property and world very much like <br />to be involved with review, noting she has not been notified of this walk on <br />Saturday and questioned Council how citizens would be noticed. <br />L Jean Struthers noted the walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 4th at 7:30 A.M., <br />` indicating we will be carrying a letter stating who we are, etc. <br />CounciLTenber Tryon indicated she is very pleased that we have volunteers, and <br />suggested that perhaps staff could mail out a letter tomorrow to those citizens <br />along Adobe Creek so that they are aware of this happening this Saturday morning. <br />
