CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />26379 Fremont Road <br />Los Altos Hills, California <br />MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />JOINT MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Wednesday, May 29, 1985 <br />cc: Reel 167, Tr. I, Side I, 001-620 <br />Commissioner Carico called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission <br />to order at 5:00 p.m, in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />The City Council did not convene due to lack of a quorum. <br />A. ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Mayor Pro Tem Fuhrman and Councilmember Rydell <br />Planning Commissioners Carico, Gottlieb, Kuranoff, Siegel, Struthers <br />and Yanez <br />Absent: Mayor Dronkert and Councilmembers Allison and van Tamelen <br />Planning Commissioner Lachenbruch <br />Staff: City Manager George Scarborough, Staff Planner Nancy Lytle and <br />City Clerk Pat Dowd <br />B. PRESENTATION BY THE PLANNING CONSULTANT ON THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL <br />PLAN <br />Christine Taylor and Jeff Goldman. Connerly & Associates, presented a general <br />overview of the draft Housing Element which included the following: community <br />and housing needs analysis, employment trends, constraints affecting housing <br />production, the Town's housing needs for 1990 and housing goals, policies and <br />programs. The consultants also commented on the process which included public <br />hearings and final approval by the City Council. <br />A question and answer period was conducted during which particular attention was <br />paid to conformance with the Town's ordinance on secondary dwellings. <br />It was agreed that recommendations from the Council and Commission would be <br />submitted to the consultants in writing for incorporation into the draft Housing <br />Element. <br />C.
