CITY COONCIL MIINUI'FS - July 17, 1985 <br />F. SPECIAL ORDERS: Public Hearings (continued): <br />b) LANDS OF GARDNERR, 24269 Dawnridge Drive, request for a special land use <br />permit to allow an addition having a height in excess of fifteen feet <br />Lori Scott presented the staff report dated 7/10/85 which stated that the site <br />development committee reasmiended approval of the special lard use permit for the <br />proposed addition at 24269 Dawnridge Drive. <br />Council noted that there were non-conformung structures on this property and asked <br />if the special use permit could condition these structures. The City Attorney <br />stated this should be a separate procedure and the City Manager canmented this was <br />a zoning enforcement issue. <br />Mr. Gardner, applicant, stated that the structures were on the property when they <br />bought it ten years ago. <br />M TION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Fuluman, seconded by van Tamelen and passed <br />unanimously by all manbers present to approve a special land use permit for the Lards <br />of Gardner for an addition having a height in excess of fifteen feet based on the <br />project's conformance with all of the guidelines for Ordinance #295. <br />c) Resolution # adopting the Palo Alto Sewer Service Charge Final Report <br />and authorizing transmittal to the Santa Clara County Assessor's Office. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Rydell, seconded by van Tamelen and passed <br />unanimously by all nEnbers present to adopt Resolution #86-85 adopting the Palo <br />Alto Sewer Service Charge Final Report and authorizing transmittal to the Santa <br />Clara County Assessor's Office. <br />d) Lot Consolidation - LANDS OF THE TOWN OF IDS ALTOS HIII.S, 26379 Fremont Road <br />The City Engineer referred to his staff report dated 7/11/85 which included the <br />reaamerdation that Council approve the dot consolidation so as to allow the renova1 <br />of the interior lot line on the Town wined land between Tuan Hall and the Heritage <br />Preserve. The report also recomerded that the City Clerk record a document showing <br />the lot consolidation. <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Ryrdell and passed <br />unanimously by all menbers present to approve the lot consolidation of Tuan waned <br />land between Tuan Hall and the Heritage Preserve and to direct the City Clerk to <br />record a docunent showing the lot consolidation of the Town owned lands. <br />e) Distribution of 1985-86 Revenue Sharing Monies <br />The City Manager summarized his staff report dated 7/11/85 which included the <br />following reoomre dations for allocation of revenue sharing funds: Co munity Health <br />Abuse Council - $2,901; Co munity Services Agency - $500; Central Counties Safety <br />Council - $150; and the remainder of the $31,330 revenue sharing monies appropriated <br />to the costs of the Frenont S -Curve project. In addition, the City Manager requested <br />that the $500 for the Los Altos Chamber of Comierce be nnved fon the City Council <br />( budget section to the distribution of revenue sharing funds. <br />11r Jackie Fletcher, representative of the Hoard of Directors of the Onnronrity Service <br />Agency, explained to the Council that then.r was a seniors e - <br />pendent, fulfilled lives and to prevent seniors frau being prematurely institutional- <br />-4- <br />
