II, Side II, 681 -end <br />Mayor Dronkert called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br />3:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. The following were present: Mayor <br />Dronkert and Councilnembers Allison, Fuhrman and van Tamelen; Planning Comnissioner <br />Lachenbruch; City Manager George Scarborough, City Attorney Frank Gillio; City <br />Fhgineer Michael Enright; Assistant Staff Planner Lori Scott; and City Clerk Pat Dowd. <br />Also present: Sara Wykes, San Jose Mercury and Gwynne Bashkin, Los Altos Town Crier. <br />F3 IN U-37 7N -Skrol WNS FTMU <br />rCTION SBODM D AND CARRIM: Moved by Allison, seconded by Fuhrman and passed <br />unanimously by all menbers present to approve the Consent Calendar, specifically: <br />1. Resolutions for Adoption: <br />a) Resolution # setting the time and place of public hearing on an <br />ll application for a Special lard Use Permit (Lards of Henry Harrison, <br />13490 Page Mill Iniad) <br />This Resolution was not adopted. It was a duplication of a resolution adopted <br />at the 7/17/85 meeting and was placed on this agenda inadvertently. <br />b) Resolution #92-85 setting the time and place of public hearing on an <br />application for a Special Lard Use Permit (Lards of Kornfield, 26209 <br />Dori Lane) <br />c) Resolution #93-85 setting the time and place of public hearing on an <br />application for a Special Land Use Permit (Lands of St. Nicholas School, <br />El Monte Avenue) <br />•. • a••• •I •• a• •e+•aa la <br />The City Attorney reported that the Los Altos City Council had approved the Joint <br />Powers Agreenent at their meeting on 7/23/85 and also appointed two members to <br />the JPA Board. In addition one member was appointed by the Los Altos Library <br />Ccnmission. <br />The City Attorney noted that the Los Altos City Council had amended two sections <br />in the JPA which was before Council (dated 7/10/85). Section 6 was amended to <br />include the rotation that the Ca ssioners would serve at the pleasure of the <br />appointing body for a period of four years or until reioved. Section 16 was <br />amended to delete any reference to binding arbitration as the settlement for disputes. <br />
