CIPY =CIL MIfY= - August 21, 1985 <br />Mr. Butler, 12321 Stonebrook, questioned the conditional use permit allowed <br />or the Ford Country Day School. He stated that he found no problem with <br />school events but did not agree with the scheduling of wedding receptions, etc. <br />He cited noise and traffic problems as two real issues for the neighbors. <br />Mr. Dean Palmer, Headmaster - Ford Country Day School, spoke to the Council on <br />behalf of those people who had events scheduled after the end of the 1985, <br />particularly those who had planned wedding receptions at the school. He noted <br />that their previous permit had not restricted these types of events and in <br />addition to the disruption of plans for those involved, it was a definite loss <br />of inane for the school. <br />C=issioner Kuranoff reported that in addition to the items Council had <br />approved on the Consent Calendar, the Camu ss= at its 8/14185 meeting <br />approved a sports court for Lands of Dibernardo on Baleri Ranch Road and also <br />approved a driveway widening for Lands of Katsaros on Sunrise Farm Road. <br />E. SPECIAL ORDERS: <br />1. Public Hearings: <br />a) LANDS OF PEACOCK, 25991 Vinedo Lane, request for a special land <br />use permit to allow an addition having a height in excess of fifteen <br />feet <br />The Assistant Staff Planner presented her staff report dated 8/15/85 which noted <br />that the Site Development Cmmittee recommended approval of the special land use <br />permit for the proposed addition for Lards of Peacock. <br />MDTION SFX,WED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Fuhrman and passed <br />unan mrously by all members present to approve a special land use permit for the <br />Lands of Peacock for an addition having a height in excess of fifteen feet based <br />on the project's conformance with the guidelines for Ordinance #295. <br />Councilmember Allison for the record asked the applicant if he understood that <br />no further development would be allowed on this lot. The applicant responded <br />that he understood that to be true. <br />b) FIDS OF RICHES, Lot #6, Via Oorita, request for a special land use <br />permit to allow a new residence having a height in excess of fifteen <br />feet <br />The Assistant Staff Planner presented her report dated 8/14/85 which noted that <br />the Site Development Camrittee recomrerde3 approval of the special lard use Permit <br />for the Lands of Riches. <br />M7TION SECCNDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by van Tamelen and passed <br />unaninously by all members present to approve a special land use permit for the <br />Lands of Riches for a new residence having a height in excess of fifteen feet based <br />on the project's conformance with the guidelines for Ordinance #295. <br />-2- <br />
