CITY CQIMCIL MINOTE.S - Septenber 9, 1985 <br />D. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: (continued): <br />Mr. Kenneth Pearce and Mrs. Gmrgina Melen, Vista Del Valle Court, stated <br />that Vista Del Valle Court, a private road, was in need of repairs and they, <br />as owners, were prepared to make these repairs. They did want to dedicate <br />the private portion of Vista Del Valle Court to the Town and were requesting <br />the Town to initiate the appropriate proceedings to acomplish this. <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: The staff would prepare a report on the issue of dedica- <br />tion of private roads and this matter would be scheduled for the first meeting <br />in October. <br />E. IETORT FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />1. Public Hearings: <br />a) LANDS OF MSYER, 26007 Torello Lane, request for a special land use <br />Permit to allow construction of a new residence having a height in <br />excess of fifteen feet <br />The Town Planner presented her report dated 8/29/85 which noted that the Site <br />Development Committee remanded approval of a special laird use permit for the <br />Lards of Meyer. <br />Mrs. Carol Meyer, applicant, presented plans and a colored rendering of the <br />ouse in question. a exp ained the placement of the house, noting that 708 <br />of the coverage was one-story. <br />Councilmen er Allison for the record asked the applicant if she understood that <br />no further development would be allowed on this lot. The applicant responded <br />that she understood this to be true. <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by Fuhrman, seconded by Dronkert and passed <br />unanimously to approve a special lard use permit for the Lards of Meyer for a <br />new residence having a height in excess of fifteen feet basad on the project's <br />substantial compliance with the guidelines for Ordinance #295, noting that the <br />architectural measures used in the design of the house served to reduce the <br />bulkiness of the structure. <br />b) LANDS OF RE®, 12998 Robleda Iniad, request for a special land use <br />Permit to allow construction of a new residence having a height in <br />excess of fifteen feet <br />The Town Planner presented her report dated 8/29/85 which noted that the Site <br />Development Comnuttee remmiended approval of a special lard use permit for the <br />Lands of Reed. <br />van Tamelen expressed concerns regarding the driveway, grading and the excessive <br />amount of fill. The City Engineer responded that the driveway was an already <br />existing driveway and the majority of the fill was in the back of the house, out <br />of view. <br />-3- <br />
