SPECIAL ORDERS: Item 3 - Comments from Council (continued): <br />b) Dronkert - Purissima Water District <br />Dronkert noted that she had been informed that the Board of the Purissima Water <br />District was concerned about setting a precedent by including the brochure from <br />the Santa Clara Valley Water District in their mailings. Dronkert felt this was <br />unfortunate as the issue of creek clearing was certainly an important and timely <br />one. It was agreed to have extra copies of the brochure at Town Hall and to possibly <br />include an article in the Town Newsletter. <br />C) Dronkert - Offshore Drilling <br />It was agreed that no Council response was necessary to recent communications <br />concerning the issue of offshore drilling. <br />H. City Clerk - Report on Council Correspondence <br />Council accepted the report on Council Correspondence dated 9/13/85 <br />4. Other: <br />I. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. Reconsideration of Heritage Committee Reorganization <br />The Mayor referred to her 9/23/85 mwo on this subject which suggested that the <br />Council action of 9/18/85 on this matter be reconsidered. To achieve the current <br />coals the Mayor recommended thanking the Heritage Preserve Committee for its <br />excellent service to the community and considering its purpose accomplished. She <br />further suggested the formation of a Heritage Committee with Nan Fuhxman as Chairman <br />to define uses for the Heritage House, to oversee the interior and exterior renova- <br />tion of the House and to establish a landscape plan. <br />MOTION SECONDED AM CARRIED: Moved by Rydell, seconded by Fuhrman and passed unani- <br />mously by all members present to establish a Heritage Corm ttee and to appoint Nan <br />Fubrman as Chairman of this Committee. <br />2. Heritage house Committee Appointment <br />This item was considered with Item 1 above. <br />3.
