I, Side I1, 094-237 <br />Mayor Perkins called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 3:40 p.m. <br />in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />A. ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Mayor Perkins and Ccuncilmenbers Allison, Hillestad and Proft <br />Absent: Councilwoman van Tamelen <br />Staff: City Manager Ann Hinshaw, City Clerk Pat Dowd <br />Press: Fd Hering, San Jose Mercury <br />B. MATTERS RELATED TO MATADER0 CREEK SUBDIVISION: <br />1. Lot #16 <br />�IrWolfe Fox & Carskadon, reported that the counter-offer for Lot #16 <br />whMticyhe the Council had made on January 5, 1983 had been accepted with one change, <br />i.e. the buyer would have one more week to cacplete site developlent plans. <br />MOTION SECONDED ASID CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Hillestad and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to approve the following change to the counter- <br />offer for Lot #16: buyer submit site development tentative plans on or before <br />February 7, 1983. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Proft and passed unani- <br />mously by all menbers present to adopt Resolution #1520 authorizing execution and <br />delivery of deed, and accepting deed of trust and authorizing recordation thereof <br />concerning Int 16, Tract No. 7187, Matadero Creek Subdivision. <br />2, lot #15 <br />Jackve Wolfe Fox & Carskadon, reported that she had received an offer on Int #15 <br />of $279,000 (all cash offer) with a closing date of July 1, 1983. A discussion <br />followed concerning the ramifications of a July 1, 1983 closing date, i.e. interest <br />paid by Tonin, etc. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Hillestad and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to present a counter-offer for Int #15, <br />accepting all the terms of the offer including a July 1, 1983 closing date at a <br />price of $284,000. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hillestad, seconded by Proft and passed unani <br />mously by all members present to give the potential buyer of lot #15 forty-eight <br />hours to consider the Town's counter-offer. <br />
