Specific discussion centered on the <br />individual projects and costs. <br />MOTION S]DOaMED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by van Tamelen and <br />passed by the following roll call vote to go past the hour of adjournment <br />and continue the meeting to midnight. <br />AYES: Mayor van Tamelen and Councilmembers Allison and Perkins <br />NOES; Oouncilnenber Proft <br />ABSERr: Councilnember Hillestad <br />MOTION FAILED DUE To LACK OF A SECOND: Moved by Allison to table consideration <br />of proposed agreement for engineering services until a breakdown of dollar <br />amounts was available for each project. <br />V <br />MOTION S'ECODIDED AND FAII.ED: Moved by Perkins, seconded by van Tamelen and failed <br />by the following roll call vote to proceed with agreement for engineering services <br />with the understanding that the Town Hall parking lot project and the Pine lane <br />Life Station shall be deferred until specific approval from the Council is received. <br />AYES: Mayor van Tamelen and Councilman Perkins <br />Nms; Councilmmbers Allison and Proft <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Hillestad <br />MOTION SE NOM AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Proft and passed unani- <br />mously by all Tubers present to table consideration of the agreement for engineerin <br />services until additional information is available, specifically a dollar break- <br />down for individual projects. <br />3. 1983-84 Proposed Budget <br />PASSED By CotZE ISUS: To schedule a public hearing on the capital imProvement <br />budget for Monday, August 15, 1983 after the hour of 7:00 p.m. <br />4. Request from the San Jose Chapter of the Association of Operating Roan Nurses <br />to hold a run in Town on October 30, 1983 <br />Council referred this request to staff to cork out the details including traffic <br />control, insurance forms, etc. <br />5. locc - Small Cities Abrkshop <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Proft and passed uua <br />mously by all members present to approve Mayor van Tamelen's attendance at the <br />8/11/83 small cities' workshop in Stockton. <br />SE <br />
