Approval of Warrants: $77,377.03 <br />Hillestad commented on warrant #7684 for $920 for a spanish translation for <br />the April election materials. In her opinion this was an unnecessary expense <br />for the community of Ios Altos Hills While she realized this procedure had <br />been agreed upon due to legal advice given by the City Attorney's office, <br />Hillestad suggested that in the future other legal options be seriously con- <br />sidered before again incurring such an expense. <br />MOTION SECONIDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hillestad, seconded by Nystrom and <br />passed unnanvrously by all members present to approve the warrants: $77,377.03. <br />1. City Attorney: <br />a) Claim - Paul and Marian Friedl <br />MYPION SEODNDED AtD CARRIED: Moved by McReynolds, seconded by Nystran and <br />passed unanimously by all members present to reject time claim of Paul and <br />Marian Friedl and to send it to the Togo's insurance copany, Flamer and Company. <br />b) Claim of Indemnity - Tracey <br />NOTION SECOMED AMID CARRIED: Moved by McReynolds, seconded by Proft and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to reject the claim of indemnity, Paul and <br />Walter Tracey, and to rend it to the Town's insurance copany, Flamer and Company. <br />2. Director Of Public Safety: <br />a) Request from the Ios Altos High Music Department to hold a May Day Run <br />in the Town on May 1, 1982. <br />Chris McCracken los Altos Music Department, explained the Purpose of the proposed <br />run - to support the Department's Spring Tour and Children' Hospital at Stanford. <br />He further explained the details of the run: route, approximate number of partici- <br />pants, release forms and gave Council a copy of the notice concerning the May Day <br />Run. <br />-2- <br />
