CITY ODUNCIL MINUTES - August 4, 1982 <br />B. CONSENT CALENDAR: Items Removed (continued): <br />Louise Dronkert, 27431 Black Mountain Road, asked for and received explanations <br />of warrants #8229 and 8254. In addition Mrs. Dronkert suggested that the mileage <br />policy be redefined during budget sessions. <br />MOTION SECONDED AM CARRIED: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Hillestad and passed <br />unanimously to approve the warrants - $69,644.91 <br />Resolution for Adoption: <br />a) Resolution # granting an easement to Pacific Telephone <br />The City Planner explained that Pacific Telephone requested the preparation of a <br />separate dociment granting the easement, in addition to the easement as shown on <br />the subdivision map. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hillestad, seconded by Allison and passed <br />unanimously to adopt Resolution #1466 authorizing execution and delivery of grant <br />of easement. <br />C. SPECIAL REPORTS: <br />Reports of Standing Committees: none <br />Reports of Ad Hoc Committees: <br />a) Committee for Organization of Camdttees: establishment of new ccomittee <br />structure <br />Hillestad reported that the committee had met on August 4th and a study session was <br />scheduled for Wednesday, September 29th. After the new emmittee structure was in <br />place the Town's information sheet would be updated, a newsletter could be prepared <br />and a workshop would be held for all interested persons. Vwk Tmaelerrinbad thet <br />t}cIt was further <br />suggested by the Ad Hoc Committee that the legislative Review Coamittee be established <br />inmediately with the Mayor appointing a Councilmanber to serve on this committee. <br />Regarding the study session scheduled for the 29th of September, Council requested <br />that a letter be sent to all present members of the standing committees informing <br />than of this meeting and asking them for their input and participation. The City <br />Attorney noted that when the reorganization of the committee structure was complete, <br />it would be necessary to amend the Resolution which originally established the Town's <br />oammittee structure. <br />MOTION SECONDED AM CARRIED: Moved by Proft, seconded by Hillestad and passed <br />unanimously to establish a Legislative Review Committee with the charges as shown <br />in the July 1982 report from the Pd Hoc Cammittee and as amended by Council. <br />Reports from the Planning Commission: <br />Lachenbruch reported ordinances regarding resurfacing and fences; were being prepared. <br />He further requested that if the development areas for Matadere Creek were increased, <br />f a procedure be established rather than consideration on an ad hoc basis. <br />V *Hillestad and Van Tamelen aaarented that their Ad Hoc Committee recce endations did <br />not include a Finance Committee.
