4W <br />7 <br />CITY ODUNCIL MINUTES - August 9, 1982 <br />B. BUDGED STIDY SESSION (continued): <br />Council discussed several items which were a high priority but net budgeted <br />for in 1982-83. This list included the S -Curve, C=unity Health Abuse Council, <br />Radar Gun, Library and the Edith Avenue Bridge Project. It was agreed to ask <br />the Acting City Manager to review these projects and consider possible alter- <br />natives for support. <br />PASSED BY ODNSEQSUS: To defer payment of certain bills accrued in 1982-83 to the <br />1983-84 budget. <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: 7o approve the six reo mendations made by the Acting City <br />Manager in his budget report dated July 30, 1982 (page three) and to add the <br />seventh reommendation, as mentioned in the report, instructing the City Manager <br />to subnit on or about October 1, 1982 a report and recommendation on cost -of - <br />living salary increases. <br />The City Council then adjourned to Closed Session for Personnel at 10:40 a.m. <br />and reconvened at 11:20 a.m. <br />C. ADJOUHIZMENP: <br />These being no further new or old business to discuss, the City Council adjourned <br />at 11:20 a.m. to a Closed Session - Personnel at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, <br />1982. <br />-3- <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Patricia Load <br />City Clerk <br />
