II, Side I, 001-417 <br />Mayor Perkins called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 3:30 p.m. <br />in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />A. ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: <br />Present: Mayor Perkins and Councilmembers Allison, Hillestad, Proft and van Tamelen <br />Absent: None <br />Staff: Acting City Manager Marty Tarshes, City Attorney Frank Gillio, City <br />Planner John Carlson, Planning Commission Representative Arthur <br />Lachenbruch and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br />Press: Mary Duenwald, Peninsula Times Tribune, Florence Pallakoff, Los Altos <br />Town Crier and Ed Herring, San Jose Mercury <br />`, The City Council then adjourned to Closed Session for Personnel at 3:30 p.m. and <br />reconvened at 3:45 p.m. <br />B. CITY MANAGER POSITION <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Proft and passed unani- <br />mously to adopt Resolution #1499 appointing Ann Hinshaw as City Manager for the <br />City of the Town of Los Altos Hills. <br />Ann Hinshaw thanked the Council for the appointment as City Manager and noted that <br />she was looking forward to working with them. <br />C. MATADERO CREEK SUBDIVISION - Lot #2 <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Hillestad and passed <br />unanimously to adopt Resolution #1500 accepting proposal and ordering sale of <br />real property, directing payment of real estate commission, authorizing execution <br />and delivery of deed, and accepting deed of trust and authorizing recordation <br />thereof concerning Lot 2, Tract No. 7187, Matadero Creek Subdivision. <br />D. MATADERO CREEK SUBDIVISION - Lot #18 <br />The City Planner reported that the Lot Review Committee had met on 11/22/82 and <br />had the following recommendations concerning Lot #18: approval of 14,900 square feet <br />(split vote); possibility of increase to 555' height limitation with proper plan. <br />f The Committee had no recommendations concerning color of house and landscaping. <br />
