CITY ODUNCIL MINUTES - December 16, 1981 <br />B. ODNSINT CALENDAR (continued): 5.a) Lands of Bellucci (continued): <br />`. Condition 1.F.2 to read: <br />The owner shall dedicate a vehicular access easement across lot 2 as shown <br />on the map titled, "Exhibit Y, Proposed Ingress/Egress Easements". <br />In addition to these amended Conditions of Approval, the easements are to be marked <br />on the final map as penmanent and interim: the easement east of parcel 2 is a tem- <br />porary easement and the easement on parcel 2 to mody Road is a pezmanent easement. <br />Additionally, where Exhibit Y is referred to, it is to be so identified as 'received <br />December 11, 19811. <br />C. SPECIAL REPORTS: <br />1. Reports of Standing Camittees: none <br />2. Reports of Ad Hoc Comittees: none <br />3. Reports frau the Planning Cannission: <br />a) Request for approval to hire Spangle & Associates <br />Council discussed this request and had several questions regarding the scope of <br />the project and the time-frene being discussed. The City Manager noted that <br />currently the General Plan was being updated with Step 1 currently on hand for <br />review and Step 2 to be available shortly. <br />Planning Can ssion Representative Carico noted that this project would address <br />1` certain areas of the General Plan which need to be more specifically designed. She <br />further noted that currently sere of the ordinances are not necessarily in ccMpli- <br />ance with the General Plan. <br />Mary vanPamelen, number, Planning Camdssion, expressed the opinion that it was <br />important to address the issue that presently many aspects of Site Development were <br />not being addressed. <br />MOTION SECOMED AND CARRIED: Moved by Nystran, seconded by Proft and passed <br />unanimusly to direct the City Attorney to prepare an agreement, a detailed presen- <br />tation, for Spangle and Associates stating the exact scope of the project the Tom <br />wants done, what exactly Spangle and Associates will do, how much time is involved. <br />4. Presentations frau the Floor: <br />Louise Dronkert, 27431 Black Mountain Road, addressed the Council concerning the <br />cost of subscribing to Council minutes and agendas. She questioned the increase to <br />$20 for a year's subscription and also noted that in sage cities the only cost was <br />a self -stamped envelope. Mrs. Dronkert further requested that the Citizens for <br />Representative Government receive a crniplete council packet. It was agreed that the <br />City Manager would prepare a report outlining the Town's policy on the distribution <br />of minutes and agendas and also on the cost of preparing these documents. <br />Carl Sorensen 14188 Stanford Court, thanked the Council for the removal of the dead <br />trees along Arastradero Road. However, he was still very much concerned about the <br />trees, apparently owned by the Palo Alto Unified School District, which had still <br />not been removed. The City Manager stated that he would see that another letter <br />was sent to the Palo Alto Unified School District notifing them of this potentially <br />dangerous situation. <br />-3- <br />
