City Attorney (continued) <br />Mayor McReynolds proposed a resolution encouraging mties to go to the State <br />Legislature to dissolve the State Housing Autbority as an economy measure <br />particularly in light of Proposition 9. The City Attorney will write this <br />resolution and it will be presented at a later meeting. <br />2. Councilman Perkins <br />a) LANDS OF REISER, File PM #349 M 21, request for time extension an-] <br />improvement modifications (continued from 3/5/80 meeting) <br />Councilman Perkins reported that Mr. Reiser has a dream - he wants to sub- <br />divide his property and maintain the rural environTent. One of the problems <br />is that the dream and the improvement plan don't mesh; however, the basic <br />Problem is that the improvement plan and the Corditions of Approval need to <br />be reviewed. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Perkins, seconded by Proft and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to grant a time extension to Dacauber 31, <br />1980 to complete the subdivision improvements. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Perkins , seconded by Proft and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to have Mr. Reiser, his engineer and the <br />Town Engineer go over Mr. Reiser's letter dated 11/12/79, the Conditions of <br />Approval and the mprovement plan before the end of October, 1980. <br />4W E. Public Hearing: (continued from 3/5/80 meeting) <br />a) Request for Tentative Map Approval, LANDS OF BALERI RAkUH (formerly <br />English Meadows), File TM #2103-79 <br />Mrs. Carol Cbttlieb, Chairman/Patlways Committee asked for an explanation of <br />exactly where the pathways were on the new map. She furtl,,-x explained Patlways <br />Committee original request. and reported on which paths now being considered <br />would be acceptable to the Pathways Cowmittee. <br />John Lynch, applicant's engi , explained the pathways systems being presented. <br />Mr. Al TAboluorth, applicant supported Ids request for Tentative Map approval. <br />Mrs. Hubbard, La Ioma Drive, stated that the path#ays werc� not clear to her and <br />she asked for clarification. <br />Mr. Dougherty, St. FranMS Drive, and Larry Faber of Palo Alto both expressed <br />com� about the use of ramps, particularly from a safety viewpoint. Mr. <br />Couperus , Page Mill Pload, stated that the idea of remps appealed to him but he <br />did point out several—pmblems with the use of ramps. <br />-4- <br />
